2.Project Background and Requirements
Mount Luojia, a small suspended island facing Mount Putuo across the sea, attracts a continuous stream of pilgrims and tourists with its unique landscape of "reclining Buddha on the sea" and profound Buddhist cultural heritage. However, as an island far from the mainland, Mount Luga faces a common pain point among all suspended islands - extreme scarcity of freshwater resources.
There is no stable surface runoff and underground freshwater layer on the island, and domestic water has long relied on shipping for supply. With the booming development of the tourism industry, the number of monks, workers, and increasing tourists on the island has led to a sharp increase in water demand. The original water supply model is not only expensive and inefficient, but also subject to weather and sea conditions, making it difficult to ensure water supply stability, which seriously restricts the sustainable development of islands and the quality of tourist experience. Finding a stable, economical, and sustainable freshwater solution has become the core issue that urgently needs to be addressed in Mount Luojia.

In order to completely solve the water problem of Logar Mountain, we have customized a set of seawater desalination system with stable daily output of 200m ³. The project adopts advanced SWRO-HR8040 (15 pieces) RO membrane modules. The core of the scheme is its high efficiency and stability, which aims to convert the inexhaustible seawater into high-quality fresh water meeting the World Health Organization (WHO) drinking water standards, sufficient to meet the water demand of daily life and tourism peak on the island, and its modular design also facilitates future maintenance and expansion.
