Although Malaysia belongs to a tropical rainforest climate with abundant rainfall, its unique geography and industrial structure bring special water use challenges:
Large industrial water shortage: The industrial zone where the project is located is expanding rapidly, and the existing water supply network cannot meet the surging industrial water demand.
Frequent seasonal water shortages: Affected by the El Ni ñ o phenomenon, Southeast Asia often faces seasonal droughts, which limit residents' access to domestic water.
Geographical limitations: Some coastal areas have low-lying terrain or are far away from the municipal main pipeline network, and the cost of laying long-distance water pipelines is extremely high and the cycle is long.
Therefore, the integrated seawater desalination solution of "on-site water intake and on-site treatment" has become the most efficient solution.
We provide a set of integrated container seawater desalination equipment with a capacity of 200 tons/day to address the aforementioned pain points.
Flexible deployment, plug and play:
The equipment adopts a standard container design, and all pipelines and circuits are prefabricated in the factory. After arriving at the site, there is no need for complex civil engineering, only the connection of inlet and outlet water pipelines and power supply is required to operate. This is also the key to the project being able to be quickly delivered and put into use within 2 months (2022.8-2022.10) .
Core process configuration:
The system core adopts SWRO-HR8040 seawater desalination membrane elements, with a total of 16 units configured. This model of membrane element has the characteristics of high flux and high desalination rate, specially designed for high salinity seawater, which can effectively resist biological and organic pollution, and is very suitable for the warm water environment along the coast of Malaysia.
After systematic treatment, the quality of raw water has been fundamentally improved, fully meeting industrial cooling and residential drinking standards.

Economic account (operating costs):
The expected operating cost of the project is controlled at 3.6-4.2 yuan/ton. Compared to long-distance water transportation or expensive industrial water outage losses, this cost is highly competitive, and there is still room for cost reduction with large-scale application.
Livelihood account (water supply guarantee):
This project not only serves industrial production, but also takes into account the water needs of surrounding residential communities. The produced water meets the drinking water standards of the World Health Organization (WHO), directly solving the problem of difficulty and high cost of drinking water for local residents, and improving the quality of life of the community.
